Born in May 14, 1865 in the port of Islay, Arequipa, he achieved fame and professional success internationally. He was was a Peruvian painter known mainly for his portraits. Carlos Baca died in France in 1941.

Born in January 8, 1941, he emigrated to the United States in 1964. He works almost exclusively in the fantasy and erotica genres and his hyper-representational paintings have graced the covers of dozens of science fiction paperbacks.
José Sabogal

Mario Pedro Vargas Llosa was born in March 28, 1936. He is one of Latin America's most significant novelists. Mateo Pumacahua
(September 21, 1740–March 17, 1815) Mateo Pumacahua was the cacique of Chinchero, brigadier of the militia of the Viceroyalty of Peru, and interim president of the Audiencia of Cuzco. He helped defeat the rebel army of Túpac Amaru II in 1781.
Túpac Amaru II
(1742 - 1781) José Gabriel Túpac Amaru was born in Tinta, Cusco and he had been honored by the Spanish authorities of Peru with the title of Marquis of Oropesa. Tupac Amaru was the leader of an indigenous uprising in 1780 against the Spanish in Peru, he was unsuccessful and died executed in Cusco.

Sofía Mulánovich
Sofía was born in Punta Hermosa, Lima 1983. She is a Peruvian surfer, the first one ever to win an Association of Surfing Professionals World Championship Tour event. She is the first South American to ever win the World Title. Her ethnic roots are Croatian.
Hugo Sotil
(born 8 March 1949 in Ica)Hugo Sotil is a Peruvian former professional football player. Nicknamed El Cholo, he played as a striker or midfielder. Sotil was one of Peru's most recognized football players of the 1970s and part of the Peruvian squad that won the Copa América 1975.
