Lima Peru Airport
The Lima Peru Airport is the main Airport in the country. Its name is Jorge Chavez International Airport and is located in Callao, 11 km from Lima city centre and 17 Km from Miraflores, one of the main Lima districts.
If you are flying out of the country, it is recommended to arrive 3 hours before departure time and must have a valid passport, regardless of age.
The single fee for using the Airport (TUUA in Spanish) is around 30 US dollars and can be paid when you check in or at the airport payment teller windows, located on the second level. Food and duty free shops are available in the boarding area.

When arriving to Lima Peru Airport you must go to the Immigration area and present a completed country entry form or Andean Immigration Card (provided on board the aircraft by airline personnel), with your passport or identity documents.
There is a variety of coffee shops and restaurants available for passengers such as Mc Donalds, Papa Johns, Mediterraneo Chicken, Dunkin Donuts, Soho Cafe, Starbucks, etc.
If you are after some shopping go to the Peru Plaza, where you will find a selection of domestic and international products at fantastic prices. There are many popular items made in Peru: silver and gold jewelry, alpaca clothing, leather, Peruvian handicrafts, Peruvian coffee, etc.

Hotels Lima Peru
The summer in Lima starts on January and last until the end of March, there are fantastic beaches and places to explore. As you would expect from a big city, there are many hotels you can book when visiting Lima. My recommendation is that you try to book your Lima hotel in Mirafores or San Isidro districts, however, there are many other nice areas where you can find an affordable and comfortable hotel.
