Peru Coast is one of the most enthralled and amazing interface of land and sea in the world. The Peruvian coast line stretch from north to south.



The loop of mountains around the coastline turns it to be more attractive and beautiful. Though this is a desert area but some of the places are fertile and this adds to the beauty of Peru Coast that it has almost all ingredients of natural beauty like ocean, land, desert and fertility in the same region.

The coast of Peru is abundant with natural vista of almost all types but it is very well known as driest desert with the combination of oceanic splendor around the world. Between the Pacific Ocean and the mountain ranges of Andes, at the Western South America is the coastal region of Peru. Known for its dry and highly arid desert regions, Peru offers extremely beautiful beaches and fertile valleys.

Even though temperature rarely goes below 12°C, humidity here reaches such a level that a sensation of cold can be felt. April to October and November to March are the two favorable seasons to visit Peru, those who enjoy windsurfing can have a great time.

The Amazon basin gets enough rain but the coast is mostly avoided due to the mountain ranges of Andes in between. Because Peru offers more than 300 species of fishes, it is ranked as world's leading fishing nations.

The overall temperatures are about 25 to 28 degrees Celsius, during the months of December to April. Travelers have noted that this is the best time to travel to the Peruvian Coast.

The coast covers 50% population of the region, the largest cities of the country such as capital city Lima and other biggest cities like Trujillo and Tacna, are located in the Peru coastline. These cities are the best example of economic strength in the region and ensure the prosperity of the country. Despite of being situated in the middle of the desert, these cities are abundant in all natural resources like fresh water, fertile lands and rainy seasons.
