A big number of Peru UFO sightings are reported every year. This is a country where the UFOs misteries date back to the inca civilization. One of the main places where it is believed to be connected with extraterrestrial life and contact is the Nazca Lines.
Peru is a country where you can find many ancient ruins and most of them are still a mistery even today. When you talk to locals about UFOs, you will find that many of them have had some sort of experience with UFOs. The year 2007 was a moment that marked the history of ufology in Peru ( the first massive UFO sighting was recorded in the heart of Lima). That time, you could see between 20 and 30 objects across the sky in broad daylight and in front of hundreds of astonished Peruvians.
Another highlight of this country rich in UFO history was experienced by a reporter who was in his office, in the area of Volcan Misti (Arequipa), and saw how a bright object remained hovering at high altitude with an impressive intense light.
But one of the most renowned UFO cases in Peru and the world took place in the 80's, when an unidentified flying object entered into the Air Base of La Joya. Then the pilot gave the order to shoot down the object but breaking all logical flight patterns of any aircraft manufactured at that time , the object left the scene leaving a trail of doubt which then formed part of what NASA considered a "very serious" incident.
Ok, let me tell you about the best places for UFO sightings in Peru, some of the most popular are
