Travel Lake Titicaca is a unique experience, It is the largest lake in South America (water volume), and based on Incan mythology, the creator god Viracocha rose up from Puno Lake Titicaca to create the sun, moon, stars and human life. The department of Puno rises over 3,700 meters above sea level.



It is surrounded by the magic of the Lake Titicaca, the largest in South America and the highest navigable lake in the world. A blend of the Quechua and Aymara cultures can be found in Puno.

Travel Lake Titicaca and Puno - Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 | Lima - Puno

Travel Lake Titicaca Included: All transfers, 3 nights in a 3-star hotel in Puno. Taquile, Amantani and Uros islands private tour. Sillustani complex and the native house private tour. Meals: 4 breakfasts, 1 dinner and 1 box lunch. Staff: Driver, boat staff and bilingual certified guide. Not Included: Additional activities, tips, extra expenses and airport taxes.

Transfer to Lima airport and flight to Juliaca city, on arrival private transport to the city of Puno and overnight there. The rest of the day is free.

Day 2 | Puno - Sillustani
Morning visit to the archeological complex of Sillustani and the native house. Afternoon free.

Day 3 | Puno - Taquile - Amantani
This excursion begins at 7:30 am with transfer from your hotel to the port, here you have 10 minutes to do any last minute shopping, then a boat ride of three hours will take us to the unique Taquile island. There a gradually ascending long path will take us to the village (50 min. hike approx) to visit the communal cooperative. Lunch at one of the local restaurants.

The views are magnificent when travel Lake Titicaca. After lunch, a walk of about 30 minutes to the boat to continue to the Amantani Island where we overnight with a local family that will provide us with food and shelter. Optional activities for the afternoon, hike to the highest point of the island to watch the sunset or just interact with the locals.

Day 4 | Amantani - Uros - Puno
Breakfast and departure to Uros island. After 3 hours of navigation we will arrive to Uros floating island. We’ll see the houses and the islands. Sailing on traditional reed boats can be arranged. Return to Puno. Arrival in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5 | Puno - Lima
Transfer to Juliaca airport, flight back to Lima and transfer. End of our services.
